I discovered Cahall's at a party they had catered. Wow. Simple, elegant, and really great food. Not a lot of petti fours and exotic pretty stuff that tastes like paste. The roast was absolutely divine.  Soon after, I made this my steak HQ. When my meat guy left Publix, I got turned on to Cahalls steaks. He will cut them before your eyes, old school. It's not cheap, but worth every dime. My friends think I'm a barbecue god, and there's no way I'm telling them that the credit isn't mine. Get the owner, Chris, to cut you some churrascos and get the twice-baked spuds. Mmmm.  I'm such a fan now that it's taken over as my favorite lunch joint, too. The sandwiches are good, but the other stuff like the chicken pot pie, sheperd's pie, and chicken enchiladas are even better. Beats the hell out of burgers or Subway.  Calling this place a deli just doesn't do it justice.

February 19, 2010 - Likes it - I decided to write a review so I could talk about the chicken salad--then I noticed the other reviews! I think the owner got the recipe from his mom-in-law; I know some of the other recipes he uses are hers. The chicken salad is famous. All chicken salads served in Bay County--whether at weddings, private luncheons, etc.--are compared to this one. One lady will turn to another and say, "This is almost as good as Cahall's." Or, "Well, it's not quite Cahall's, is it?" They have lots of freshly made deli items like broccoli salad, etc., all yummy.

Everything is Amazing and Great People Work There
Very Very Delicious!!!! I am in love with their anti-pasta and chicken pot pie!!
Not only are their prices reasonable but they offer military discount also. If you are craving something sweet, try the strawberry fluff. It is amazing. If you have never gone it is a must!!!!

Cahall's Goes Beyond Great Food
I have always gone to Cahall's Deli for wonderful food in the past. I recently lost my job at a local business that I had been apart of the last 6+ years here in Panama City. When the owner of Cahall's had found out about my misfortune, he had some food sent home with an employee that lived next door. You talk about being in touch with the community, I was so inspired by the owner's actions and graciousness, that I will always remember Cahall's for not only their very good food, but also their willingness to reach out and help others.  Cahall's Deli has positively affected my life and they stand for much more than only food and excellent service.

Best For Catering
We have used Cahalls Catering for Business and Personal Parties and we have never been disappointed. Everything from the famous chicken salad to the Bar-B-Que had always been the best! I have been known to be picky, but with Cahalls you can't go wrong!
